Pam and I went to Elizabethtown, Kentucky to show her cousin's daughter some songs. Her son came out doing magic tricks. Pam asked, "How Did You Do That?" A few days later, I was sitting in the parking lot of Wal-Mart. Terri Clark was singing on the radio. Tears began streaming down my face. "How Did You Do That" came to me. I recorded it in Nashville. Right now, I can not recall the name of the girl who did the vocal. I wanted the song to drive like Terri Clark. It came out sounding more like Dolly Parton. It is hard to transfer what is in your head onto tape.....Jim Colyer
